VIRGIN ISLANDS – The Department of Public Works is asking all general election candidates to remove their signage from the territory’s roadways within the legally allotted timeframe.
According to the VI Code Title 29, Chapter 9:507(b), all advertising devices shall be removed by the erector within 14 days following the event. The code further states, “Whoever violates or refuses to comply with any provision of this…shall be fined not more than $50 for each and every such violation.”
