Bunker Hill Closed for Road Repairs

BUNKER HILL CLOSED TO ROAD TRAFFIC THIS FRIDAY

Road Patchings Scheduled for This Week on St. Thomas

As the Department of Public Works continues with its efforts to make roads drivable since hurricanes Irma and Maria, temporary road repairs will resume this week on St. Thomas.

On Friday, December 1, Bunker Hill will be closed to the motoring public from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., to allow for the patching of several major potholes. The Department is requesting all vehicles be removed to allow adequate space for heavy equipment.

The following outlines the schedule of other areas patchings will be done this week:

Monday, November 27

  • Route 38 - Four Winds/ Tutu Fire Station vicinity

Tuesday, November 28

  • Route 30 - Frenchman’s Bay Road

Wednesday, November 29

  • Contant in the area of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses Church

Thursday, November 30

  • Route 38 - Cassi Hill

* This schedule is pending weather conditions and asphalt availability.

The Department of Public Works appreciates the community's patience as they work to restore road conditions.
