In keeping with improving the overall appearance of our roadways, parking will no longer be allowed along Main Street. This change will allow for a cleaner appearance of this popular tourist destination. Main Street now has larger sidewalks to facilitate increased pedestrian mobility, which in turn has resulted in a narrower road. Police officers will be present, until further notice, to enforce the “No Parking” rule.
Work will continue in January 2020 on the side streets, as progress on the Main Street Enhancement Project advances. The project is on schedule with an estimated completion date of August 2020.
