
PROJECT TITLE: Mafolie Road Repairs
ISLAND: St. Thomas
DATES: January 8 &11
SUMMARY: The Department of Public Works is advising St. Thomas residents to refrain from traversing Mafolie Road on Friday, January 8 and Monday, January 11. The road will be closed for 30 minute intervals throughout the workday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., to allow the contractor to install 24" storm drain pipes. During the closures, motorists will be re-routed through Pilgrim's Terrace bypass and Mannassah Hill road. Motorists are urged to adhere to all traffic controls and respect signals from on-site flaggers. The Department of Public Works appreciates the community's patience as they work to improve road conditions throughout the territory.
