PROJECT TITLE: Melvin Evans Highway Reconstruction and Rehabilitation

HOURS OF WORK: 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
SUMMARY: The Department of Public Works is advising the community that the West-bound lanes on Melvin Evans Highway, from the West Airport Intersection to the Williams Delight Intersection, will remain closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Friday, April 16 - 21st. The closure will allow the contractor to finish milling and paving the lanes. This is the fifth segment of this six-phase project. The public is asked to avoid these areas and use alternate routes as much as possible during this time. The Department of Public Works appreciates the community's patience as they work to improve road conditions throughout the territory.
