The Department of Public Works (DPW) advises the public of upcoming roadside maintenance along segments of Mahagony Road to Mandalhl Road, St. Peters Mountain Road, and Lilly’s Valley in St. Thomas, U.S Virgin Islands.

Starting on Tuesday, June 23 through 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m, DPW crews will conduct landscaping work in these areas while using a large side-arm mowing machine to clear roadside vegetation.

Motorists should anticipate temporary lane restrictions, partial road closures, and traffic delays. All parked and abandoned vehicles must be removed from the affected area to allow the crew to complete the work as scheduled.

The Department of Public Works appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as efforts continue to improve roadway conditions throughout
the territory.
