The Department of Public Works (DPW) is informing the community of upcoming temporary road work on Purple Shop, Hill Crest, Rosa Lima, and Augustin Lima Roads in the Bovoni area of St. Thomas. (See map above) DPW Contractor – Island Roads Corp. – will begin work on Monday, July 10. This project aims to bring temporary relief to residents from roadway damages caused by the 2017 hurricanes. All vehicles must be removed from the roadway during project work hours. Any abandoned or parked vehicles will be towed if they are present at the time of road work.
The Department of Public Works appreciates the community’s patience as they work to improve road conditions throughout the territory.
