The Department of Public Works (DPW) is updating the community on several emergency relief road projects in the St. Thomas/St. John District. The total cost of these ER Projects in the St. Thomas/St. John district is $23,543,882.76. All St. Thomas/St. John District Emergency Relief projects are scheduled to be completed by December 2022.
Alexander Gade

Construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, June 20, 2022. The scope entails drainage improvements and rehabilitation of the roadway. Motorists can expect lane closures and delays for the duration of construction.
Traffic Light Repairs

LOCATION: Intersection of Raadets Gade & Veterans Drive, and Intersection of Market Sq. East & Weymouth Highway (Cost-U-Less) Intersection
KEY FACTS: The Department of Public Works (DPW) is informing the community of upcoming traffic light fixture repairs starting at the intersection of Raadets Gade and Veterans Drive on Monday, June 20, 2022. The second repair will take place at the intersection of Market Square East and Weymouth Highway (near Cost-U-Less) on Wednesday, June 22, 2022. Contractors will replace the temporary traffic lights that were damaged in the 2017 Hurricanes.
